The Museum of Nature

The Museum of Nature of the Slovinski National Park in Smołdzino was formally open on July 24, 1974. The first exposition presented the nature of the most characteristic Park eco-systems: beaches and dunes, lakes and forests.
Supplemented throughout the years - the collection of exhibits is currently displayed in a slightly different manner, creating theme permanent expositions:
Environmental Protection, Beach, Dunes, Lakes, Forests, Archeology

In the museum, special rooms have been prepared for temporary photographic exhibitions, art works of which the authors are the students of local schools participating in contests and educational workshops being organised by the Park.

In the didactic room, which is situated on the highest storey of the building, educational classes, museum lessons, multimedia presentations, photo-slides and film shows are conducted for organised groups by the employees of the Park.
We cordially encourage to "follow" the offer for the museum visitors, formulated on the internet web site of the SNP in the section of CURRENT ISSUES and visiting the exposition in the time convenient to you.
